Saakshi Khattri, MD, describes a state of unceasing misery for a young patient who, while coping with the exacting symptoms of a nearly lifelong case of atopic dermatitis (AD), was treated with the monoclonal antibody dupilumab.
Dr Khattri recalls the impression that this patient left as they were relieved from the acute suffering inflicted by this often disabling disorder.
